An alumnus of Patna Medical College, Dr. Sinha completed his MD in General Medicine in 1968, followed by advanced neurology training in Vienna and the UK. He served Patna Medical College for more than 30 years, rising to become Professor and Head of Medicine & Neurology, and continues to teach as an Emeritus Professor even after retirement.

Recognized across India and abroad, he has been conferred with prestigious honors, including the Padma Shri Award (2004), the Indian Medical Association’s Doctor of Extraordinary Merit (2008), and multiple accolades for teaching excellence.
